OUR UNUSUAL GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS

From 2007-10-01 to 2009-07-31 Siauliai Gytariai School is participating in International project Comenius –School Partnerships Nr. LLP-COM-DP-2007-LT-00035 OUR UNUSUAL GUINNESS BOOK OF RECORDS

Participants of the project:

 English, Lithuanian, Art, Technologies, Music, Informatics, Sports, Ethics teachers, assistants of the headmaster and the pupils of the 7 forms.

Aims of the project:

• Development of European dimension through the knowledge of Lithuanian, Polish and Turkish culture, literature, drama, art, music, sport, life style and customs;
• To broaden knowledge of English language;
• To increase the use of new technologies;
• Encouragement to know each partner school native language;
• Cooperation of different subjects teachers;
• Implemention of study by action;
• To involve in the project as many students as possible specially encourage to take part in activities weaker or disabled learners;
• Promotion cultural exchange among European people;
• To counteract aggression and violence at school;

Intended results:

Six volumes of “Guinness book of records” and CDs. At the end of the project will be organised “Festival dialogue among three cultures” presenting students` art galeries, theatrical performances, popular songs and dances, film of photo projections from all partner schools and all volumes of the final books and CDs.
